    Take your support of FRIENDS OF ABILITIES FIRST on the road !

    RIDE ON, which will be held on June 23, 2018, is bike ride where riders choose between routes of 13, 26, 53 and 64 miles through our beautiful Ozarks to benefit Friends of Abilities First! After cyclists complete their route, they can stay to enjoy food, beer and entertainment!

    FoAF

      Friends of Abilities First is a non-profit organization501(c)(3) that assists with the growing needs and expenses of people with developmental disabilities in Greene County. FoAF also provides resources (such as clothing, blankets, dishes, diapers, etc.) as needed and helps with advocacy, fundraising, volunteerism and public education to improve the lives of people with developmental disabilities and positively impact our community. FoAF can help individuals with developmental disabilities gain employment in the community at a competitive wage, move into their own home, attend inclusive creative arts classes, or obtain personal items, and emergency funding. More importantly, FoAF helps people achieve their dreams of a good life!

    $30 per person (in advance) $35 per person (day of event) Includes food, beer, and entertainment!

    Route Support

    Course support and SAG vehicles will be limited and based on level of severity. It is the responsibility of the rider to bring the proper bike repair equipment and to know his/her level of physical fitness.

    Abilities First

    ABILITIES FIRST and its programs, retail stores and grant funding recipients support a wide variety of services including: early intervention for infants and toddlers, residential services, independent living assistance, employment and transportation services. The goal is to provide all the necessary supports, services, resources, and opportunities for anyone with a developmental disability to thrive on a daily basis and throughout the many transitions of their lives.
