Human Resources Assistant - Part Time
We currently have an opening for a Human Resources Assistant working approximately 20 hours a week Monday – Friday during the day. Times may be flexible. This individual is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Manager which may be related to employee benefits, recruiting, employee relations, leave administration, workers’ compensation, performance management, organizational development and regulatory compliance.

Additional duties may include accurately communicating and answering questions related to policies and procedures; exercising discretion to ensure effective office procedures are in place and work flows are efficient; actively participating in staff meetings and performing any other necessary activities related to these meetings; demonstrating a high level of customer service to internal and external clients; and exercising independent judgement in handling matters and tasks not requiring the HR Manager’s attention and within the parameters of established procedures.

Experience: Requires a High School Diploma or GED and proficiency using Microsoft Office. An Associate Degree (or equivalent experience) and previous human resources administrative experience is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the confidential nature of HR issues, data and information, strong attention to details, effective project management skills and strong communication skills.
